The elephant in the room...Racism.

In the heat of this racial debate, I have one question...
Why is it okay for there to be organizations that advocate and provide support to only the minorities or one race, like the Congressional Black Caucus or National Association for the Advancement of Colored People? On the other hand there could never be a Congressional White Caucus or a National Association for the Advancement of European Descendants People, because they would be called racist.  Are the Congressional Black Caucus and National Association for the Advancement of Colored People racist themselves? Would the Congressional Black Caucus stand up for a white person who was murdered?  Can you be a member of the NAACP if you are white or of European descent?  What if I wanted to join the NAACP, would I be welcomed with open arms? These groups were created during a time when the minorities were not being treated equally.  Are they still truly needed today?  If anything, today, these organization do the opposite of what they initially intended.  These organizations create racism.  Just another example of the hypocrisy we see in our society.
